"Nezzie" was my most unforgettable character in my whole life. She was always around, from the day I was born, until her death on Jan. 12, 2015. You never forget them. I have millions of snapshots, sounds, and smells associated with her stored in my mind that will never be replaced. Her bountiful laughter, the smell in her kitchen when she cooked, and most of all her unwaivering love and dedication to me. She was my rock, my star, my Aunt, my friend, and my confident. We shared so many things together, more than most people do in 300 years. She never judged or schollded me, and even as a child she made me fell like someone special because I could always make her laugh, and to me, that is the most endearing gift anyone can offer you, their laughter. Looking back, I know I would of fought for her if the need arose, but she didn't have an enemy in the world. Thank you Nezzie for being a being in my life. Thank you sweet angel of mine. I know I'll see you in Heaven, and I know your first words will be "Well David, as you choke back tears of joy. Your buddy, nephew, best friend, and survivor. I noticed tonight how cold this world was without you in it. I'll have to avoid the street you lived on lest I cry everytime I pass your old home. I'm happy your in a much happier place now, please, remember my name sweatheart. Leave a candle in your window, because the way time fly's now, I'll be tapping on it before you turn around. Prepare a place for me my angel. In deepest sorrow and selfish regret because I want see you until I get there, and what a day of rejoicing that will be. Goodnight sweet princess... David S. Young
