Madelyn Grace “Gracie” Griffin, 14, of Orange, Texas, passed away on January 21, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Sinclair Oubre. Burial will follow the service at Parish Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on February 12, 2003, Gracie was the daughter of Chris Griffin and Kim McDonald Griffin. She was very active in her youth group at St. Francis and attended Little Cypress – Mauriceville High School as a freshman. She enjoyed doing makeup, making videos for her vlog, drawing, swimming at the lake, driving the golf cart, and spending time with her friends. Gracie was a wonderful friend with a kind loving heart. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Gracie is survived by her parents, Chris and Kim Griffin; grandparents, Jerry and Mary McDonald, of Orange and Patricia and Jack Godwin, of Port Arthur; siblings, Meagan Tilley and husband Derek, Wade Griffin, Nikki Griffin and Brian Runnels; aunt and uncle, Leslie and Robert Lovelace; first cousins, Dirk McDonald and wife Ashlyn, Dakota Dallas and husband Mason; nephews, Connor Runnels and Brody Tilley; along with numerous other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dirk McDonald, Derek Tilley, Robert Lovelace, John Davis, Tad Duhon, Samuel McDonald, Mason Dallas, and Brian Runnels.
