Gloria Ann Wells, born on April 2, 1945, in Sulphur, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on September 16, 2026, in Katy, Texas.

Gloria was a woman of deep faith, finding joy and solace in attending church every chance she got. Her home was her sanctuary, a place where she cherished quiet moments and created beautiful memories. She poured her love into crocheting, crafting countless rugs, blankets, and other treasures for her beloved family, each stitch was a testament to her affection. To her grandchildren, she was simply "Grandma," a title she wore with immense pride and tenderness.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Roylene Cotton, and her husband, Ali Raza. Gloria’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Sagan Kirksey, D'Ann Perry and her husband, Patrick, Matthew Raughton and his wife, Kelly, Jennifer Lucio, and Henry Wells. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Elah Cotton, Isaiah Morris, Leeallen Perry, Paislee Perry, Lilyan Kirksey, and Grayson Kirksey, who brought immense joy to her life.

Gloria is also survived by her siblings, William Lacomb and his wife, Beth, and Linda Leger; her son-in-law, Daniel Hendon; and numerous other loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Henry and Dorceil O'Bryan; her beloved husband, Clarence Wells; and her dear children, Pamela Hendon and Patrick Wells.

A graveside service to honor Gloria will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2026, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange, Texas.

Gloria's gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
