Obituary
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 27, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Robert Edwards of True Faith Tabernacle.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 26, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on December 4, 1959, she was the daughter of Denis Williamson and Shirley (Johnson) Talbert. Glenda was a known social butterfly. She enjoyed meeting new people and visiting with everyone she met. She was a faithful member of True Faith Tabernacle in Orange where she loved worshiping the Lord and looked forward to her weekly meeting of T.O.P.S. Glenda loved listening to oldies music, dancing, and running the roads with friends. She adored her family more than anything and never forgot anyone’s birthday. Glenda left an impact on many lives and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Denis Williamson and Shirley Talbert; stepfather, Henry Talbert; sister, Wanda Edgerton; and her grandmother, Ruby Lawrence.
She is survived by her partner, Shawn White; children, Craig Risinger and wife Nicole and Stephanie Curphey and husband Justin; grandchild, Baylee Cathey and husband Scott; great grandchildren, Tucker, Waylon, Leo Kay Cathey; siblings, Brenda Daville and Tilley Antilley, Denise Williamson Jenkins, Sharon Walton and husband Jim, Henry Talbert, Jr. and wife Laura, Jennifer Chaknine and husband Ray, and Susan Williamson; as well as 7 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 great nieces, and 13 great nephews.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Colton Cockrell, Kasey Frederick, Justin Frederick, Carlin Renshaw, and Tyson Russell.
