Georgie Marie Dautreuil Long went to meet her Heavenly Father and her family that have gone before her on July 17, 2015.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, July 20, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange, Texas with Father Joseph P. Daleo officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:30pm, Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

She was born in Parks Louisiana on March 2, 1928. Resided in Orange for 55yrs.

She is preceded by her husband, Charles Ray Long Jr. and her daughter Cheryl Ann Long Westbrook. Her daughter -in-law Jackie Osbourne Long- Also her mother & father, Remy Francis Dautreuil and Oceania Menard Dautreuil. Brothers- Collins Dautreuil-Orphe Dautreuil-Alton Dautreuil-Howard Dautreuil,-Davis Dautreuil Sr.-sisters- Adille Dautreuil Manuel-Anna Mae Dautreuil Perkins.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and directed St. Vincent DePaul for 25yrs. feeding and helping hundreds of people during those years. Member of Federation of the Blind- Charter member of Orange Christian Services and past President. She loved being a Red Hat Lady! Also working with the board of Salvation Army during Christmas. Many people were fed and helped from her home when OCS was not available. She loved helping people, because she remembers her mother helping the homeless when she was young.

She is survived by her children- Rebecca Long Nation & husband Don of Orange- Janie Marie Long Petry & husband Randy of Orange-Chuck Long of Orange and her sister, Margie Dautreuil Belaire, of New Orleans, Louisiana. 6 grandchildren -10 great grandchildren – 3 great-great grandchildren.

She loved listening to her 40's music and remembering old times.
