George Paul Nevarez
George Paul Nevarez, 67, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 16, 2018, at his home.
Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on February 22, 1950, he was the son of Nestor T. Nevarez and Lydia S. (Fitch) Nevarez. George graduated with honors from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He served our country in the U.S. Navy. George worked as an Electrical Engineer at Total, Huntsman and Dupont- Sabine River Works for a number of years. He will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nestor and Lydia Nevarez; and brothers, Eugene “Bebe” Nevarez and Johnny Nevarez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Nevarez; son, Paul Nevarez and Crystal Crawley; sisters, Priscilla Hernandez and husband Joe, Olivia Garcia and husband Jose, and Rachel Hecker and husband Pete; and brother, Robert Nevarez and wife Antoinette.
A memorial service will be held in Las Cruces, New Mexico at a later date.

I just learned that George had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to work with George at all the facilities he worked at the last twelve years. George was a good man - and he will be missed. Darlene Johnson
