Obituary
Federico Chavez Guerra, 88, of Orange, passed away on January 5, 2022, at home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Joseph P. Daleo. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, with a rosary starting at 6:30 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Mexico, on February 3, 1933, he was the son of Gregorio Guerra and Alejandra (Chavez) Guerra. Federico owned and ran his own farm. He was a devoted and faithful Catholic and loved praying when he had the chance. Federico enjoyed raising his own pigs and many other farm animals. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Alejandra Guerra; as well as his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Fernando Guerra & wife Judith, Teresa Ayers, Catarina Orta and husband Raul all of Orange; and half-sister, Angelita Trejo Zuniga.
Serving as pallbearers will be Fernando R. Guerra, Raul F. Orta, Fernando Guerra, Jr., Jeff Koob, Arthur Lecea and Robert Shiyou.
