Born April 13 2010 and died June 8 2013; only 3years old, Ellie Stephenson passed at her home in Orange, TX surrounded by those who loved her. In her short life she has touch all of those that were lucky enough to have met her and knew her fight with cancer.
Ellie’s family wishes to thank all of those who prayed for her and her family. Without the help, kindness and generosity of friends, family and people who didn't even know her, Ellie’s battle would have been much harder. So we thank you.
Her smile and ability to whistle charmed all. With eyes so blue they were lit from within. Ellie will grievously be missed by her devoted and loving parents Jacob and Tisha Stephenson, big sister Ava Gayle Stephenson, Grandparents John and Elaine Hanner, Grandparents Omie (aka) Susan Hart, Anita Williams, Lonnie and Norma Stephenson, Joseph W. Stephens, Aunt Ke Ke Kristin Stephenson and Uncle Joe Stephenson.; along with numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ellie is preceded in death by her Aunt Mae Mae Misty Stephens, Uncle Joseph W. Stephens the 3rd, Grandma Sandra Gail Stephens, and Grandfather Raleigh Frank Williams.
Funeral services will be 10am, Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Burial will follow at Dorman Cemetery in Orange. A visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.

I'm so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you, I can't begin to imagine how difficult this time must be for you. I pray God will give you strength, peace and comfort you through this time. I hope it gives you comfort knowing that your precious little angel is now in Paradise with the Lord, free from all suffering and pain. I know you love her but God loves her best!

Couldn't help but love sweet Ellie from the first time I met her. I will remember her dancing at a wedding on June 2, 2012. RIP Ellie. My prayers are for the family she has left behind. She is in heaven playing and dancing right now.

Susan, you are one of the best souls I have had the honor of knowing. From the stories of Ellie I heard, I felt I knew her. Meeting her only briefly a short time ago I saw the fiesty, full of heart kid you spoke of so passionately. Although nothing will ever make it okay remember, you were, and are the best Omie that baby could ever ask for. I love you.
