My heartfelt condolences to Ed’s family. I worked closely with Ed and was his neighbor for many years on Sakhalin Island. He was a great guy, hard working, very intelligent, with a great sense of humor. He was one of the most generous persons I have ever met and unselfishly helped so many people when they were in need. He had such a huge heart for people and was loved by many. He especially loved his family - His children and grandchildren were the centerpoint if his life and work. I miss you my friend, comforted knowing your are with our Lord, without pain, resting in peace. Mark Sienkiewicz Anchorage, Alaska

Ed’s Family - hello just heard about Ed’s passing. Just wanted to pass on thoughts and prayers from the Flood Family. I had the pleasure of working w Ed for 15 years for Exxon in Sakhalin Russia building some of the most complex Oil & Gas Facilities in the Industry. Ed led our Logistics Group and was a big part of our success. Ed was the ultimate professional and was always a positive force of nature and came to work every day with a “Can Do” attitude!! Each and every day He made miracles in delivering critical equipment and materials for the project. Ed was such a fighter as well showing up to work every day while fighting the fight. He was an inspiration for all of us and will be missed greatly. I know these are tough times - know that Ed was greatly loved by the Sakhalin Team. May he Rest In Peace. Take Care. Jim Flood & Family

We met Ed & Ronda when Randy was transferred to Houston at Conn Appliance. Soon we became neighbors & close friends. Randy & Ed went on a few hunting trips together & shared lots of Conns stories & antics. Candace & Christine grew up with Justin & Tyler. Each Christmas, Ed & I would have a baking contest. We had backyard BBQs & 4th of July fireworks. Lots of good memories & good food during that special season of life. The Dowdens send their prayers & love to the Pevetos. Ronda, Poo & Bookie, your Daddy loved his girls dearly & fiercely. May you have the peace of Christ to hold you close as you mourn.

The first time I got to meet Ed was when I came home on leave because at the time I was active duty military and I was going on a hunt with him and and my Dad and a few others in New Mexico. It was a very nice trip. We made a few more hunting trips over the next few years and then I went back to sea duty. When I got the chance to go back again we all met in Houston Texas at Ed and Rhonda’s house and went to Colorado for a deer and elk hunting trip. These were the most special things I’ve done with Ed. Years later after I retired from the military work was scarce and Bonnie and I were having a hard time making ends meet. Ed called me and said that he had a job for me overseas and I was working with him from July of 2008- October of 2008 in Russia for Exxon. The pay was good and after the last of the contracts came to the end. I told Ed that if it wasn’t for him giving me that job Bonnie and I would have lost everything because of the economic fallout. Ed & Rhonda are the God parents of my son Matthew Lee Fontenot. All the memories I have of Ed are very nice and it’s been a wonderful ride but I’m gonna catch up with him one day and then we gonna start all over again!!!! I love you brother and I’ll see you when I get there. GOD Speed. Fare Winds and Following Seas!:cry::fist:
