Dusty Fenner, 71, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on December 21, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas.
Born in Texas, on April 11, 1949, she was the daughter of Dorothy “Dot” (Bailey) Brand. Dusty was a kindhearted woman who loved her family immensely. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was proud to be their Meme. Dusty always enjoyed having her family over and showed her love for them through cooking. All of her dishes were incredible, but her French toast was unbeatable. Dusty also enjoyed playing board games, cards, dice, cribbage, and backgammon. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Butch” Fenner; her parents, Dot and Kenneth Brand, Sr.; and her granddaughter, Heather Brand.
She is survived by her sons, Ken Brand and wife Tresia of Alaska, and Macc Fenner and wife Aleshia of Orange; her eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings, nieces, and nephews. Dusty’s family would like to extend a special thanks to her brother-in-law, Gary Fenner, for helping her manage her life since the passing of her husband, and for being her support and a dear friend.
Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

I worked with Dusty and Butch both a long time ago. Loved them. When they started truck driving they would come by my job to see me When they were in town. The two sweetest people I have ever know. Sending prayers for the family.

I visited Mrs. Fenner toward the end of her life. I shared with her the Sacrament of the Sick and prayed with her. Her eyes were open and her last whispered words to me were, 'thank you.' Mrs. Fenner's family is in my prayer as they suffer her loss this Christmas. Father Michael Jamail St. Anne Catholic Church Beaumont, Texas
