Donna Gayle Franklin, 69, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on June 15, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on April 9, 1950, she was the daughter of Jerry Douglas Dubose, Sr. and Louise (Jacks) Dubose. Donna was a former member of the Eastern Star. She loved cooking, as she was great at it, and you could always count on her to speak her mind. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Louise Dubose; son, Jerry “Wayne” Franklin, Jr.; and brother, Jerry Douglas Dubose.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jerry Franklin; son, Michael Franklin and wife Misty, of Orangefield; grandchildren, Kade Franklin, Kooper Franklin, Matthew Franklin, Alyssa Duhon, and Baylee Duhon; great-grandchild, Alex Franklin; and her sister, Terri Sonnier and husband Donny, of Bridge City.
