So sorry to hear of Cookie’s passing. She was such a delightful person and was always friendly and full of smiles. My heart goes out to her children and those who loved her. I know they will miss her at Orangefield school where she worked so many years. I really enjoyed seeing her and talking to her when I taught there. I send my love to her children.

My condolences. So so young. I remember the Bendo girls and their mom, Betty Lou, coming over and sitting on our front porch “just to visit”. Betty Lou and Jesse were friends with my older siblings so we saw them often. May she Rest In Peace.
