Donald Wayne was my next-door neighbor for the last eight years. He has helped me on many occasions with my plumbing problems and did my yardwork when my mower crashed. I was always amazed at how much energy he had . He was a great coach, neighbor, my neighbor but most of all a good friend!. He surely will be missed .

My memory of Donald goes way back into our mutual ancient past. I do not precisely recall exactly when I met him for the first time; but, it had to have been when we were in grade school. I lost touch with him upon graduation from BCHS in 1971. I seem to remember his nick name at the time as being Ollie. At any rate I pray for GOD's tender mercies for the family at this time of grief. I lost my dad to cancer when I was 13 years old. I feel the grief of his kids and grandkids especially. GOD Bless Tommy

One of my favorite memories of my precious Uncle is from when I was a kid. We were hunting Easter eggs and nobody could find the last one. I kept asking Uncle Wayne to help me but he wouldn't even talk to me. It was weird because he was such a kind soul but I kept looking for that dang egg. Finally, I we all gave up! HE HAD IT IN HIS MOUTH and that's why he wouldn't talk to me!! Lol I sure am going to miss that man but I find comfort knowing I will see him again  Rest easy Uncle Wayne.. I love you!
