Dominque Olivia Hogan
Dominque Olivia Hogan, 45, of Orange, passed away on June 22, 2021, in Orange.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Joseph P. Daleo. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on May 25, 1976, she was the daughter of Freddie Doucet, Jr. and Mary (White) Doucet. Dominque was extremely faithful to her Catholic faith and was a lifetime member St. Mary Catholic Church, having served on the Altar Society. She worked as a Register Nurse for hospitals, home health, nursing homes and hospices. She loved to stay active and exercise. Dominque’s whole life was centered around her children and how she could be as present as possible in their lives. She loved attending her children’s sports and cheering them on from the sidelines. She enjoyed their annual hunting trips, as she often used it to get retail therapy time in. Dominque was a light in every life she met, and will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Doucet, Jr.; grandparents, Freddie Doucet, Sr., Edith Doucet, Maria Pilar Williams, and Paul Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lewis Charles Hogan; children, Olivia Hogan and Dalton Hogan; mother, Mary White Doucet; and siblings, Shawntaul Thompson and husband James and Freddie Doucet III and wife Rachel; along with nieces and nephews, Kevin Thompson, Drake Thompson, Savannah Thompson and Kinsley Doucet; and many other loving family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Thompson, Drake Thompson, Cody Marshall, Kenneth Wheeler, Charlie Hogan and Sam Cart. Honorary pallbearers are Chester Moore and Brian Cart.

If you have the means and are able, the family has set up an account with Wellspring Credit Union for Dominque’s children and to further their future in memory of their mother.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Catholic School Foundation at 2600 Bob Hall Rd. Orange, Texas 77630 or Southeast Texas Hospice at 912 W. Cherry Ave., Orange, Texas 77630.
