I am so very sad at Joe's passing. I baby sat Joe and his siblings when he was a little boy;and out of all of the children, Joe was always my very favorite. He was such a nice little boy and loved to play tricks on me. We lost contact over the years; but one evening a few years ago, I was at a restaurant with some friends and Joe was at the next table with his close friend,Denise. She must have told him who I was and he came over and introduced himself. I was stunned to see him again after all of these years and have always been so thankful for that chance meeting. We remained in contact after that, by phone and visits. Each year at the Provincetown Portuguese festival, we would meet at the Town Hall benches and spend some time together. Our last visit was this past June when he came to the festival for the last time. I will always cherish and love these times and will miss him always. My love and sympathy to his Texas family and to his friends, who he dearly loved. With much love and sympathy, Janet Francis. Orleans,MA.
