Denny Griffin, 53, of Orange, Texas, passed away on October 7, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
A memorial gathering will held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on February 23, 1969, he was the son of Rex Griffin and Carol (Calvert) Griffin. Denny worked as a welder for many years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors at Cow Creek and loved fishing. Denny also enjoyed watching sports and was a Dallas Cowboys and Houston Rockets fan. He was a compassionate man with a heart of gold. He loved animals, especially his cats. Denny was a loving son, father, grandfather, and brother who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rex Griffin.
Denny is survived by his mother, Carol Griffin; his children, Kayla Griffin and C.J. Lichenstein and wife Ashley; his grandchildren, Kaylor Lichenstein, Karson Lichenstein, Kase Lichenstein, Korbin Lichenstein, and Charlotte Lichenstein; his siblings, Casey Canizaro and husband Jay and Jason Griffin and wife Mia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
