Danny Carl Dearing

Danny Carl Dearing, 71, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 20, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Chandler. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Born in Lufkin, Texas, on September 6, 1949, he was the son of Carl Dearing and Marcelle (Green) Dearing. Danny proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He went on to work as a mechanic and was the co-owner of Western Avenue Automotive. Danny loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and spending time at his camp at Toledo Bend Lake. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother and uncle. Danny will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Dearing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Broussard) Dearing; his parents, Carl and Marcelle Dearing; his brothers, Gary Dearing and wife Darlene, and Johnny Dearing and wife Leah; as well as his nieces and nephews, Dionna Fregia and husband David, Chrystal Murphy and husband Mike, Terry Fontenot, Chad Fontenot and wife Dana, Rick Dearing and wife Marla, Brent Dearing and wife Dana, and Quinton Dearing.
