Colleen Elizabeth Pachuca

1965 ∼ 2020

Colleen Elizabeth Pachuca, 54, of Orange, passed away on March 3, 2020 in Houston surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 7, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Brad McKenzie.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, at Claybar Funeral Home.

Born in Orange, Texas on July 2, 1965, she was the daughter of Lacy Dwight Bryan and Clara Leger Barrett. Whenever you met Colleen, the first thing you would notice was her warm smile and infectious laugh. Wherever she went, laughter and light followed. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and a grandmother “Lolli”, living every day to be the best role model and companion she could be. Colleen loved her family whole-heartedly, and welcomed anyone and everyone who came into her life with a warm hug and humor for every occasion. She was talented in all aspects of her life, with the ability to cheer you up when you felt your worst, an eye as a talented photographer, owning Pachuca’s Portrait Studio for a number of years, and was an incredibly creative nail tech. Some of her favorite things were the epic family game nights she hosted at her home and the LCM band which she was the biggest fan and supporter. Those who knew Colleen on her journey through life were made better for it. She will be so dearly missed by all those whose lives were touched by her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lacy Dwight Bryan; mother in law and father in law, Juantita Hardin and Tony Jeanise.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mark Pachuca; mother, Clara Barrett and partner Floyd-Pete Kormon; sons, Marcelino “Bubba” Pachuca IV, Wesley Dwight Pachuca and wife Amber, and Jordan Taylor Pachuca and partner Conner Dugan; grandchildren, Serenity Stanley, Alysa Stanley, and Adaline Pachuca; siblings, Shelly Fair and husband Kelly, and Kelly Wade; brother in law, Mike Adair and Cathy; sister in law, Kay Vandevender; nieces and nephews, Emily and husband Tony, Hallie and husband Jacob, Josh, Liz, Lexxi, Lilli, Jace, Bryden, Carson, Carter, Christian, Stella, and Chapman; and her fur baby Chico.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the memorial fund for Colleen Pachuca at any branch of Sabine Federal Credit Union or directly to the PayPal account: mark.pachuca@yahoo.com .

My sweet precious cousin! I will miss your laughter, your constant positive attitude, your relationship bridge building and the way you touch hearts and souls. I know you are safe in the arms of your daddy and although you left us way before your time, you are surrounded by loving Bryan and Leger family members! You have left a huge hole in both families that will never be filled! Until we gather at the river with it's crystal tide forever. Yes we'll gather at the river, the beautiful, the beautiful river, will gather with the saints at the river, flowing by the throne of God! You will always live in my heart, love you Colleen!

Colleen's personality exuded happiness, which showed in her beautiful smile and contagious laughter. I have fond memories of the excitement we shared while expecting our first born together. And, of the fun we had sewing Wes and Stephanie's infant clothes as we awaited their arrival. Colleen was a wonderful friend and a fantastic mother. Although our lives went in separate directions, the love I have for Colleen will remain in my heart forever. God Bless Everyone. Elicia Dillon

Colleen, You did my nails for a while and I will always remember the talks we had when you did my nails, You were and wonderful nail tech and person in general. I will always remember the one time you did my nails and painted a Santa Claus face on one of them an I got some many compliments cause so many people did not think it was painted on. But your nail tech job is done down here, so go Rest In Peace Colleen, you will be missed. My prayers are with Mark and Clara and the family, So sorry about your loss
