Obituary
Clara Janice Prejean, 85, of Vinton, Louisiana, passed away on January 20, 2022, in her home.
Funeral services will be 10:00am, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Minister Paul Masters of the Church of Christ in West Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00pm, Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Fulton, Alabama, on May 23,1936, she was the daughter of David Earl and Julia Wynima Neugent. She loved taking care of her family, cooking, coloring, and her flowers. She loved her family more than anything else. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gabriel Prejean; her parents, David and Julia Neugent; her son, Jimmy Lynn Prejean, and daughter, Debra Ann Prejean.
She is survived by her son, William Phillips of Beaumont; her nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Vera Roberts of Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Prejean II, Shawn Garrie, Brandon Prejean, Eric Phillips, Kevin Phillips and Jerridale Neugent. Honorary pallbearer is Lawrence Riley.
