Christine Patton, 82, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2020, at her home in Vidor.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.

Born in Lunita, Louisiana, on March 2, 1937, she was the daughter of James Albert Johnson and Eliva (Wills) Lee Johnson. Christine enjoyed playing bingo in her spare time. She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her family, especially her grandchildren. Christine will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eliva Lee Johnson; loving husband, Charles Edward Patton, Jr.; daughter, Janet Lee LeBlanc; and her grandson, Cody Dewayne Patton.

Christine is survived by her children, Danny Patton, of Fort Worth, Kathy Goins and husband Paul, of Vidor, and Paula Patton, of Vidor; grandchildren, PJ Goins and wife Lyndsi, of Vidor, James Duke and wife Whitney, of Vidor, Erica LeBlanc, of Vidor, and Carolyn Walker, of Vidor; and her great-grandchildren, Hailyn, Heidi, Ryker, Kade, Kynlee, Alex, and Jayclyn.
