Charlyne A. Noah Jakeway
Charlyne A. Noah Jakeway, 79, of Tylertown, Mississippi, passed away on October 12, 2022, in Hattisberg, Mississippi.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022, at First Methodist Church in Orange. Officiating will be Lani Rousseau.

Charlyne was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on May 21, 1943, she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Margaret “Ann” Noah. She was known as Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society for starting the first Society in her area. Charlyne worked several careers before finding her calling in caring for the ederly. She dearly loved her family and found every reason to be happy and hold a smile on her face. Charlyne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ann Noah; daughter, Janet Kay Foil.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ray Jakeway; children, Paul Anthony “Tony” Foil and wife Linda of Kokomo, Mississippi, Jerry Wayne Foil and wife Angelina of Buna; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; twin sister, Charlotte Foreman and husband Edward; sister, Mary Kay Walker and husband Al; four nieces and their families; and her beloved cat, Susie.
