Obituary
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 29, at Cove Baptist Church, in Orange. Officiating will be Revered Charles Empey, Reverend Jeff Bell, and JoNell Gerland. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in San Augustine County, Texas, on January 18, 1941, she was the daughter of Clyde Wood and Ella Mae (Roberts) Wood. Charlotte worked for Cove Baptist Church for over 40 years as the church secretary. She enjoyed traveling all over the United States with her husband, Terrell. Charlotte was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, and loved participating in and watching sports. She adored her family above all and attended every event her grandchildren and great grandchildren participated in. Charlotte was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ella Wood; siblings, Billy Wood, Betty Deville, and Kathryn Pool.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terrell Burch; children, Teri Wallace and husband Robin of Orange, William Terrell Burch, Jr. of Houston, and Angela Coker and husband Scott of Orange; grandchildren, Kyle Wallace and wife Heather, Haley Landry and husband Shea, Taylor Colten and husband Zachary, and Gracie Guyote; great grandchildren, Easton Landry, Ivy Colten, Charlotte Colten, Henley Wallace, and Jaxon Wallace; and sister, Shirley Hall.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Burch, Troy Pool, Theron Pool, Heath Rehfuss, Alvin Callahan, and Britt Wood. Honorary pallbearer is Easton Landry.
