Hard to believe four years has past since you left. I think of you all the time. I see that side look, your grin and I can hear your laugh. I don’t know if you realize what an incredible brother you were. I know you always tried to look out for us. I so wish I could still talk to you. I know you had a loving and full life with God, Karen and friends. I find comfort with that. I love and miss you Rusty.

Charlie was my most wonderful friend. I treasure the talks we had when we worked together at DuPont and Invest and will always remember him as the most caring person I have ever known. He prayed for me, prayed with me, and always had an encouraging word to speak. He never disparaged anyone, even when he didn't agree with them. He sought common ground and always tried to understand their point of view. I will miss him always.

Karen - I was shocked this morning to read of Charlie's passing. You and he were both always so kind to me when I came to First Presbyterian. God received a wonderful angel. My prayers are with you. God bless. Nancy Sorrels Sonnier

Charlie and I had a very good relationship. We both enjoyed our ham radios, our woodworking and our spiritual direction training. We savored our common beliefs and interests and respected our differences of beliefs. To Karen and the family, please know of our continued prayers for Charlie and you.
