Chad Tyson Chambless, 31, of Orangefield, Texas, passed away on March 2, 2020, in Rosenburg, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on June 23, 1988, he was the son of Clyde Chambless and Cathy Chambless. Chad was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time fishing, boating, and 4 wheeling. He was an avid sports fan and was always ready to strike up a game of football or hit the golf course for the day. He was a friend to many and loved his family dearly. Chad was a wonderful man with a big heart. He will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alma Lois Chambless Frazier, Fred Frazier, Clyde C. Chambless, Elizabeth Thomas, and Melvin Thomas; and his aunts and uncles, Bonnie Adams, Ervin Thomas, and Gale Holm.

Chad is survived by his wife, Katie Miles Chambless; mother, Cathy Chambless, of Orangefield; father, Clyde T. Chambless and wife Tasha, of Rose City; sisters, Chrissie Lowery, of Keller, Chandra Sepulvado, of Orangefield, and Destiny LeBouf, of Orangefield; nieces and nephews, Cassidie, Chrislyn, Catie, Chloe, Hannah, Breanna, Calleigh, and Trenton; aunts and uncles, Nancy Chambless, of Town Bluff, Sherry Smelser, of Morgan Hill, CA, Lois Shellenberger, of Cameron, Johnny Thomas, of Patterson, LA, and Henry Thomas, of Patterson, LA; cousins, Henry Adams, Rachelle Adams, Bonitta Dupont, Bridget Levingston, Valerie Bosworth, Ervin Thomas, Monique Thibodeau, Miranda Thomas, Eric Smelser, Joe Nelson, John Nelson, and Misty Rife; and his dearest friends, Brandon Brignac, Danny McAbee, Tyler Frederick, and Brandon Lee; along with numerous other loving family and friends.

it’s been 4 years uncle bubba, i miss you like hell.. it’s been hard these past few years, but we’re making it. i’m 15 now, we weren’t as close as i wish we were but you were and still are the best uncle a niece could ask for 😕.. i miss and love you uncle bubba. i can’t wait to see you again.. 💗
