Brenda Lois Patnaude, 80, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on May 9, 2020, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.
Born in Orange, Texas, on January 31, 1940, she was the daughter of Horace J. Beard and Amy (Broussard) Beard. Brenda was a loving woman whose main focus was always her four children and her husband, who she loved dearly. She enjoyed cooking for her family, listening to music, and watching her favorite shows on television. In her younger years, Brenda loved to dance. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Amy Beard; her husband, Edward Patnaude; her daughter, Amy Copeland; and her brother, James Beard.
She is survived by her loving children, Teri Ridley and husband Raymond of Bonweir, Kim Patnaude of Bridge City, and Chip Patnaude and wife Heather of Dickinson; her grandchildren, Steven Miles, Kristopher Reeves and wife Tori, Courtnie White and husband Dereck, Reid Patnaude, Josh Copeland, Kaley Hernandez, Jalen Patnaude, Jake Miles, and Michael Alsop; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Judy Cooke and husband Donald of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Private services will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

How do you pick one memory from the dozens I have from back in high school! From the over night slumber party’s to the mornings when Mrs P. would cook us breakfast to just hanging out and talking!
