Billy Wayne Smith, 41, of Bridge City, passed away on July 18, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Deridder, Louisiana, on October 4, 1972, he was the son of Billy Smith and Zora Carolyn Smith and step-mother, Deborah Carlolta Vangent. Billy loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, going fishing, shooting guns, and playing pool.
Billy is survived by step-father, Nico VanGent; Siblings, Joseph Smith and wife, Wendee Smith, Christopher Smith, Kathey Duncan, Janis Weeks, Lorri Weeks, Gail Boudreaux, and Rita Thomas; nieces and nephews Dalton Vallery, Trey Trip, Serenitee Smith, Ethan Freeman Smith, Bree-Lynne Cheryl Smith, Brandi Boudreaux, Clint Duncan, Walker Evans, Alex Harrison, Christine Trumble, Bret Trumble, Cheyenne Durio, and Ian Trumble.
A memorial service will be held on August 1, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church 2402 Western Avenue, Orange, TX 77630.
