Billy Francis Hare, 80, of Orange, Texas, passed away on December 3, 2017, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

Born in Bryan, Texas, on December 1, 1937, he was the son of William Spencer Hare and Martha Agnes (Shaw) Hare. Billy was a member of First Baptist Church in Orangefield. He loved to play golf and spent many hours at the driving range. Billy enjoyed sitting on his back porch feeding the birds and squirrels while he listened to gospel music and country music. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Agnes Hare; and his half-brother, Roy Hare.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Adelle Hare; children, Michael Hare and Jennifer Hare, both of Orange; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
