Betty Jane Stark, 75, of Orange, Texas, passed away on May 28, 2017, in Beaumont, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Jett Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on April 13, 1942, she was the daughter of Jesse and Laura Johnson. Betty worked as a professional hairdresser and retired from Bridge City Independent School District as a bus driver. She loved her family and enjoyed reunions, good food, and good times.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Darlene Johnson; and brother, William Henry Johnson.

Betty is survived by her son, David Duane Stark and wife, Jayne, of Allen, TX; grandchildren, Savannah Stark and Dakota Stark; sister, Shirley Ray Woolf and husband Coy, of Abilene, TX; nieces, Shelia Ann Mason and husband Randy, of Buna, TX, and Paula Hare Aven, of Orange; nephew, Caye Ray Woolf, of Silsbee, TX; great-nephew, Joshua Woolf, of Silsbee; and great-nieces, Burgandy and Emerald Mason, of Buna, TX;
