The Bert I knew had a big, infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of storytelling humor. And gosh, he was fearless, flying that open cockpit plane that he built himself many times from Orange to father-in-law Philip Weimer's sugar cane farm in the St. Charles community between Raceland and Thibodaux in Lafourche Parish. A 100% Cajun man, through and through. Paula and I send our love................ Donald Barker, Jr. Natchitoches, LA

Don, here's a photo of Breezy with Bert & Todd taken in 1982. We all got to ride that day. Yes, Bert fearless. What an experience!
