Anthony “Tony” Lawrence Jeanise
Anthony “Tony” Lawrence Jeanise, 76, of Orange, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2019, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Nathan Fleetwood. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Born in Jennings, Louisiana, on August 28, 1942, he was the son of Harry Jeanise and Mable (Lavergne) Jeanise. Tony proudly served his country in the United States Marines and went on to work as a Car Salesman for Stevens Buick. He was a true salesman who could sell anything. Tony was an avid sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys, The Houston Astros, and the Dallas Stars. He liked to fish, flip cars, and sell fireworks. For 30 years, he enjoyed playing cards with his friends on Tuesday nights and going to Gary’s and Danny’s for coffee. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mable Jeanise; brother, Horace Jeanise; and his wife, Juanita Fontenot Hardin.

Tony is survived by his children, Sammy Hall and wife Candi, Debbie Jeanise, Mark Pachuca and wife Colleen, Kay VanDevender, and Cathy Adair and husband Mike, all of Orange; grandchildren, Bubba Pachuca, Brandon Hall and wife Stephanie, Wesley Pachuca and wife Amber, Hallie Adair, Jordan Pachuca, Josh Adair, Baylie Hall, Jace VanDevender, and Jackson Hall; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Alyssa, Adaline, Bryden, and Baby Hall; and his siblings, Shelby Jeanise, Henry Jeanise and wife Georgie, Beverly, and Florence.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jace VanDevender, Joshua Adair, Mike Adair, Jordan Pachuca, Wesley Pachuca, Brandon Hall, and Bubba Pachuca. Honorary pallbearer is Jackson Hall.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Trinity Hospice for all of their care and support.

I used to enjoy a lot of the get togethers growing up but I'd have to say my favorite times were going to the little league ball games. He always through these years called me his niece and I called him my Uncle even though him and my mom's sister divorced years ago, we all still considered him family and loved him dearly. Love Sis
