Obituary
Anna Clark Hager, 89, of Orange, passed away on September 24, 2017, in Port Arthur.
Born in Dorothy, West Virginia, on June 1, 1928, she was the daughter of William Douglas Clark and Mary Hyslop Clark. Anna was a member of the Scottish Society, was friends of the Library, part of AARP locally and nationally. She was born in a coal mining section of West Virginia where her father was a coal miner. She worked for a newspaper in Charleston, WV, where she was in advertising. Her favorite activity was to answer KOGT trivia questions and she was very good at it. She also loved to yodel. Anna will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd Hager in 1981; and her siblings.
She is survived by her son, David Hager and his wife Carmen, of Port Neches, Tx; son, Mark Hager and his wife Phyllis, of Kingwood Tx; grandchildren, Benjamin Hager and wife Christie, Natalie Hager, Tyler Hager; and Dr. Kristen Hager; and great-grandchild, Oliver Hager.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m.
