Andrea Hallberg Prouse

Andrea Hallberg Prouse, 82, passed away on May 22, 2026.

She was the daughter of John O and Vivian McKnight Hallberg. Andrea graduated from Stark High School, followed by graduating from The University of Texas-Austin, with majors in anthropology and history, and a minor in languages. She went on to work at Mann Insurance Agency for 22 years. Andrea will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John O and Vivian Hallberg; her husband, L Wayne Prouse; her brother, John Eric Hallberg; and her sister, Karen Hallberg Mendoza.

Those left to remember her are her step-son, Brandon K Prouse; and grandson, Landon Prouse; along with numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
