Luminary Service of Remembrance
Saturday, December 15, 2018 : 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Please make plans to attend our 7th annual Luminary Service of Remembrance on
December 15, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
We will begin with a brief memorial service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens and conclude with family members of all ages placing a memorial luminary on the grave of their loved ones.
This is a spectacular event as thousands of lights glimmer across these cemeteries reminding us of those we love and celebrating the memories of this special season.
The luminaries will remain lit throughout the night. Please tell your friends and families members.
Invite them to visit Hillcrest Memorial Gardens during the night of December 15th and experience the special beauty and reverence of this very special evening.
*Additional luminaries will be available for families wishing to honor their family members buried at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
For additional information please call (409) 735-7145.
Memories & Miracles
Sunday, December 16, 2018 : 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
The Christmas season is a joyous occasion filled with excitement. To families who have experienced a death during the year, however, this season may be particularly difficult, even painful.
We understand these feelings and would like to help. We placed a memorial tree in our lobby upon which a handcrafted, ceramic ornament has been placed in remembrance of loved ones no longer with us this Christmas. Dedicated to the Glory of God, the tree will serve as a tribute to the Peace and Hope that is Christmas.
On Sunday, December 16th, at 2:00 p.m. in our Beaumont Chapel and 4:00 p.m. in our Orange Chapel, we will hold a special service entitled “Memories and Miracles – a Christmas Service of Peace and Hope.” This will be a time in which we honor the memories of seasons past and deepen our awareness of the miraculous truth of Christmas. At the conclusion of the service, the ornament is yours . . . a gentle reminder in years to come of the memories and miracles of this Holy season.
You, your family, and friends are invited to be a part of this Christmas experience. Please feel free to stop by to view the tree, and make plans to attend this very special service. Our sincere wish is that this experience will help the Christmas season become for you a time of ever greater peace and hope.
* If you were served by another funeral home during the year and would like to be a part of our Memories and Miracles Service, please call us at 409 892-3456. We would be honored to place an ornament on the tree in memory of your loved one and send you a special invitation.
