Theresa M. Dischler, 74, of Orange, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at The Meadows in Orange.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange.
Entombment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Mrs. Dischler was born on May 20, 1933, in Crowley, LA. She is the daughter of Joseph and Jennie Giordano Martarona. She was a caring and loving homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Ezra Foreman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alvin Dischler of Orange; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet Manuel and Beaver of Orange and Jennifer Bennefield and Mike of Colorado; sons and daughter-in-law, Stephen Dischler and Kelly of Orange and Dean Dischler of Colorado; grandchildren, Jacob and Brandon Bennefield, Kayla and Lyndie Manuel, and Kyle, Zachary, and Cameron Dischler; and brothers, Vincent Martarona of West lake, LA and Sammy Martarona of Lafayette, LA.
Serving as pallbearers are James Martarona, John Martarona, Joey Martarona, Todd Martarona, Ron Dischler, and Aubry Wilkins.
Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Bennefield, Brandon Bennefield, Zachary Dischler, Frank Martarona, Cass Wilkins, and Cameron Dischler.
