Sallie Christine Turner

Sallie Christine Turner, 82, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 6, 2025, at Calder Woods in Beaumont.

Born in Nahunta, Georgia, on March 3, 1943, she was the daughter of Walter Charlie Screws and Bertha (Glisson) Screws. Christine was a kind and loving wife to her husband, and a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. She was married to Frank Turner Jr. in 1963 who passed away in 2004, with whom she had 3 children. Christine was a practicing "Jehovah's Witness" and a graduate of the "Bible Ministry School" and served as a "Pioneer" in the Ministry service for many years. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by 3 children; (Son) Frank Turner III, (Daughter) Joy Turner, and (Son) Scott Turner Sr.

And 9 grandchildren; Dillon Turner, Kyle Turner, Brian Turner, Danielle Turner, Scott Turner Jr., Nicholas Turner, Christina Turner, Catherine Turner, and Alexandria Turner. As well as 5 great grandchildren; Jaden Turner, Joseph Turner, Vivian Turner, Valerie Turner, and Scott Turner III.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
