Ronald Edward Miller, 85, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2023, at Beaumont Baptist Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 7, 1937, he was the son of Edward Miller and Marie Rossell -Miller. Ron joined the Air Force in 1955 served most of his 4 years in Okinawa, Japan. He enjoyed playing pinochle, golf, swimming and being with his friends and family; especially his 17 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all that loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Miller, of Camden, New Jersey; daughter, Wendy Derr of Florida; and granddaughter, Jules Avery Sunderland of Mauriceville
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Miller of Mauriceville; his daughter, Christine Brown of Orange and her husband Jacky Brown; his son, Edward Preston Miller and wife Kelli Miller of West Berlin, New Jersey; son, Ronald Andrew Miller of Orange; daughter Connie Farris and husband Matthew Farris of Leander, Tx; son, Carl Miller and wife Tanya Miller of Beaumont and daughter Ronda Sunderland and husband Daniel Sunderland of Mauriceville.
Ron Miller was a caring and generous man. His wishes were to give his body to science in order to help others. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
