Norma Lavonne Cobbs, 88, of Beaumont, Tx, passed away on July 9, 2023, in Beaumont, Tx.

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Tx. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Vick. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Tx.

Visitation will be 10:00am, Wednesday, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Tx.

Born in Kellyville, OK, on September 24, 1934, she was the daughter of Lester Charles Lawson, and Oneta Katherine Lawson Cleveland. Norma was known by her loved ones for being easy going and enjoying the small things in life. She was a family woman who loved having fun and making everyone smile. She loved many things including being outdoors looking at the bluebonnets, reading, playing cards, fishing, collecting knick knacks, going on road trips and spending time with friends and family, and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norma was an avid fan of Star Trek and Doctor Who. She was truly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lester Charles Lawson, and Oneta Katherine Lawson Cleveland; her husband Billy Ray Cobbs, Sr; and her stepfather Jack Cleveland

She is survived by her children Betty Kay Sala and husband David, of Beaumont, Tx, Billy Ray Cobbs, Jr and wife Elizabeth of Mechanicsburg, OH, and Linda Fay Riggs and husband S.A. Riggs of Beaumont, Tx; her grandchildren Peter Paul Sala, Justin Lee Yarbrough, Jason Lynn Yarbrough, Colleena Owens, Amy Doyle, and Jennifer Steed; great grandchildren Delilah Yarbrough, Jenson Yarbrough, Joey Yarbrough, Fiona Owens, Jason Friend, Randi Doyle, and Benjamin Reed; her sister Patricia Ann Segura; as well as numerus nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends

Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Ray Cobbs, Jr, Peter Sala, Jason Yarbrough, S.A. Riggs, Todd Hergert, and Delester Brister
