Montaray Trahan, 61, of Vidor, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 27, 2007.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in the Charles S. Kelley Memorial Chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont with Reverend David Logan of Word of Life Church in Groves, Texas officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
Her family will receive guests from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Montaray was born January 19, 1946 in Beaumont to Alpheus and Viola Mae Doiron Trahan. She was a gentle and calm spirited person who loved everyone around her. She was very special and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Marvin Simmons, she is survived by her sister, Alice Trahan of Vidor; brother, Al Trahan of Beaumont; and numerous other close friends and family. Also surviving Montaray is her sister-in-law and caregiver who truly knew her like no one else, Myra Trahan of Vidor.
