Bertha May, 90, of Hemphill, died, Wednesday, May 30, 2007.
Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Forest Bo Owens of Fairdale Baptist Church in Hemphill will officiate. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. May was born January 26, 1917, in Rapid Parish, LA, to Jepsay P. and Mary Estella Matthews Rambin.
She lived in Orange for many years and was a resident of Fairmount for the last 14 years.
Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fernell ?Red? May, son Weldon Ross May, grandson Gerald Blane Coulter and parents, Jepsay and Mary Rambin.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Shelby
and Valerie May of Orange, daughter, Reba Coulter and husband Bert of Fairmount, brother, Larry Rambin and wife Nina of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Gregory May and fiancé Kristy, Darren May and wife Donna, Darrell Coulter, Becky Hutchison and husband Ron, great grandchildren, Trisha Coulter Smith and husband Lane, Taylar May, Thomas and Sierra Hutchison, Brandon Ross and Marlee Jo May.
