Florence was a dedicated member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, where she found both fellowship and purpose. After a fulfilling career as a cosmetologist, she retired in 1997, having owned and operated Florence's Beauty Shop. With a personality described as feisty, Florence was known for her kindness and sweetness, always coupled with a delightful touch of sass. Her ability to connect with others made it a joy to be around her, and she had a unique way of advocating for everyone she met, both people and animals alike. Her compassion extended into her love for her pets, and the joy she found in her garden reflected her nurturing spirit. Florence was also a woman of many artistic talents. She loved music, often entertaining loved ones on her piano, and found creative expression through her painting. Florence Pelham will be remembered not only for her contributions to her craft and community but also for the love she spread to every corner of her life. Her feisty spirit, unwavering kindness, and creative talent will leave a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
