Mack “Buster” Ferguson, Jr., 73, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on November 20, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on February 18, 1952, he was the son of Mack “Buck” Ferguson, Sr. and Billie Rae (Tompkins) Ferguson. Mack lived a life full of laughter, love, and music. He had a remarkable gift for singing, often captivating those around him with his Elvis-like voice. He was known as a big jokester, always ready to lighten the mood with his great sense of humor. His kindness was felt by everyone he met, and he had a deep love for his family. Mack's interests spanned many areas, but he especially enjoyed sports, particularly football. He lived for the company of his family and the joy that food brought to their gatherings. Music was another passion for him, as he loved to entertain his family and friends. Mack will be remembered for his warm spirit, infectious laughter, and the love he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack “Buck” and Billie Ferguson; and sister Karen Kay Trahan.
He is survived by his sister, Dena Tarver and husband John; brother, Steven Ferguson and wife Judy; special Aunt, Bernice Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends.
