On October 7, 2025, Linda Faye Hogan Bielecki entered peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus, at the age of 79. She lived a life of steady devotion and service to St. Henry’s Catholic Church and unwavering faith in her Catholic religion.
Born on June 14, 1946, she was the beloved daughter of Charles Louis Hogan, Sr. (Buck) and Una Mae Bouley Hogan. She attended Cove Elementary and graduated from Bridge City High School where she excelled in athletics. She married the love of her life, Zerl Wayne Bielecki, and together they flourished in establishing Zerl’s Welding in Bridge City. They added to their family by choosing to adopt and cherish their sons, Chris and Michael, who brought her great joy. She was involved in their activities by volunteering to raise money for the band and chaperoning their band trips. Her servant heart led her to be a money counter for St. Henry’s, an avid participant in the Altar Society and its many activities to raise money and served as an election judge for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Una; her husband, Zerl; her brother, Kenneth Hogan; and her nephew, Casey Hogan.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Wayne Bielecki and wife, Beth, and Michael Wayne Bielecki and wife, Candy; her brother Charles Louis Hogan, Jr.; her grandson, Sonny Bielecki; her granddaughter, Elaina Bielecki; and her great nephews, cousins, and good friends she made throughout her life.
A visitation at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Bridge City at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Bankston, Austin Shirley, Padon Shirley, Lane Shirley, Kevin Garriga, and Scott Rose.
