Lillian Lucille Frugia

Lillian Lucille Frugia died August 10, 2025 in Beaumont, Texas. She was born on July 8, 1925 in Beaumont, Texas to Sadie Rae Boudreaux Frugia and Lyman Frugia Sr.

She lived most of her life in Vidor, Texas and graduated from Vidor High school in 1943. After graduation she lived in Houston, Texas briefly before returning to live with her parents in Vidor, Texas. Later they all moved to Beaumont, Texas and she remained in Beaumont helping to care for her parents. She worked in the Insurance industry for many years before retiring, to care for her mother.

She was a centenarian. She smiled and laughed a little when we reminded her that she was 100 years old and sang Happy Birthday to her on the 8th. She was a dedicated member of Sabine Tabernacle. She enjoyed traveling and the gatherings for special meals and parties, mostly with Sabine Tabernacle ladies.

She is survived by nieces, Noel Ann McCord of Beaumont, Texas and Martha Frugia Gooch and spouse Robert Gooch of Hemphill, Texas, one great nephew, Corey Gooch, two great nieces, Allison Witschorke, Erin McCord and her Sabine Tabernacle family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Lyman Frugia Jr and sister-in-law Doris Frugia.

Funeral Services will be held on August Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 1:30 p.m., at Sabine Tabernacle, 1065 Hazel Ave, Beaumont, Texas 77701, officiated by Brother James Boykin. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 12:30 p.m., at Sabine Tabernacle, 1065 Hazel Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
