Born in Merryville, Louisiana, on January 31, 1935, she was the daughter of Alvin Watson and Lucy (Whitman) Watson. Kay was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Beaumont since 1967 and took great joy in serving her Lord and being of service to the deaf community through her ministry. She was an incredibly active advocate and supporter of the deaf community, she loved them deeply and they returned the love right back to her. Kay adored her family and was so proud of each and every one of them. You could often find her behind the lense of a camera taking pictures to capture all of the sweet memories her family made. She loved angels and anything purple. Her family will miss her deeply and always remember her as their Christmas angel!
