Born in San Diego, California, on September 29, 1959, he was the son of Lazaro DeJesus Quilon and Amelia Hidalgo Quilon. A man of skill and dedication, Jimmy worked as a contractor, specializing in commissions and control, where his hard work and determination left a lasting impact. His service to the nation as a proud member of the United States Army is a testament to his commitment and bravery. Beyond his professional endeavors, Jimmy possessed a deep passion for the great outdoors, particularly when it came to fishing, he was fondly known as Capt’N Jim. This love for nature was matched only by his enjoyment of cinema; he cherished watching movies, finding both entertainment and inspiration in countless stories. He was affectionately known by his grandchildren as "Pop," a title that signifies the love and warmth he shared with them. Jimmy leaves behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and affection for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memories will be treasured forever. Descanse En Paz -Rest in Peace-.
