Henry Carl Burns, 86, of Beaumont, TX, passed away on June 5, 2007. He was the son of Norma Burns, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Burns was born, January 3, 1921 in Mertzon, TX. and worked as an oil field mechanic for Johnny Chance Well Service and retired from Teels Maintenance Service. He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II.
Graveside services for Mr. Burns will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Claybar Haven of Rest Cemetery on Hwy 90 West and Green Road on Thursday, June 7, 2007. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Beverly Burns of Houston; grandson and wife, James and Kristen Burns and granddaughter, Laura Burns.
His wife, Lola Faye Burns preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 755 S. 11th St., Beaumont, TX 77701.
