Gary Allen Hudson, born on July 22, 1961, in Orange, Texas, passed away on September 20, 2025. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Gary dedicated years of his life as a K-9 Handler, demonstrating remarkable passion and unwavering commitment to his career. 

Gary was known for his extraordinary sense of humor and remained a source of laughter in the lives of those who knew him. He was a beloved member of his community, particularly enjoying his time at a music park in Woodville, where he gathered with friends to play music. His love for music manifested in many heartfelt songs inspired by his family and friendships he made. He had a particular fondness for country music, which he expressed through his guitar and singing. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Hayward Hudson, and his mother, Patsy Hudson. 

He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Karen Doty Hudson; his son, Brad Allen Hudson and wife, April; his daughter, Cara Nicole Kupec and her husband, Tyler. Gary cherished his roles as a father and grandfather, and he is also survived by his granddaughters, Riley Jean Hudson and Avery Rose Kupec. He also leaves behind three siblings, his sister, Suzie Wallace, and her husband, Frank; brother, Brian Hudson; and sister, Karla Trevino; along with numerous other loving family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas, with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brad Hudson, Kevin Wallace, Brian Hudson, Frank Wallace, John Phillips, and James Earl Fletcher.
