Gail Ann Moody, 50, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on October 5, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas.

Born in North Kansas City, Missouri, on January 6, 1973, she was the daughter of Roger and Diann Thompson. Gail was a loving and bubbly person, always making people smile and laugh. She adored her family, always looking forward to family gatherings and vacations. Gail especially loved her grandchildren, spoiling them whenever she could. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the Renaissance Faire, reading, watching TV shows with her mom, playing video games, making shirts with her Cricut, and going riding in the jeep. Gail also enjoyed anything about space, always looking at the sun, moon, and stars through her telescope. Gail had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Thompson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 30 years, Greg Moody; her mother, Diann Thompson; her sons, Brandon Moody and wife, Jessie, and Chase Moody; her stepdaughter, Charlotte Liner and husband, J.T., of Ruston, La; her grandchildren, Cooper, Oliver, and Zander; her brother, Wayne Thompson and wife Heather; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving friends and family.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
