Debbie Lynn Vidrine, 74, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on June 18, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Orangefield, with a Rosary to begin at 9:30 a.m. Officiating will be Father Michael Strother. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on June 9, 1951, she was the daughter of Wallace Turner and Dorla (Abram) Turner. Debbie was known for her warm heart and caring spirit. She spent many joyful years helping to raise her grandchildren, a role she cherished deeply. Debbie was very social and loved being around people, often participating in her weekly prayer group and sharing laughter and stories with friends during her beloved "Lunch Bunch" gatherings. Her little dog, Beau, was a constant companion, bringing her joy and comfort. Debbie was also proud to be a member of St. Helen Catholic Church for over 31 years, where she found strength and fellowship. She enjoyed shopping and cooking, always eager to prepare delicious meals for her family and friends. Debbie will be remembered for her loving nature, her passion for community, and the joy she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Turner and Dorla Turner; brother, Randy Turner; and sister, Kathy Quebodeaux.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Robert Vidrine. They were married on September 16, 1994, blending their families of two daughters and two sons. Daughters, Tammy and husband Eric Currie, Lori and husband Damon Silva; sons, Clint and wife Ambrosia Vidrine, Charlie and wife Tara Vidrine; grandchildren, Caitlin and husband Taylor Hulsey, Collin Currie, Mallory Silva, Cade Vidrine, Mason Silva, Anna Vidrine, Libby Fox, and Alex Vidrine; great grandsons, Riley Hulsey and Ryan Hulsey; a slew of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous other loving family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Collin Currie, Mason Silva, Cade Vidrine, Taylor Hulsey, Wesley Turner, and Kaden Frazier.
