Dawnie Wilkinson

Dawnie E. Wilkinson, 97, of Orange, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Rob Fisher of First United Methodist Church in Orange will be officiating.
Burial to follow at Orange Forest Lawn in West Orange.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilkinson was born July 11, 1909, in Zavalla, TX. Mrs. Wilkinson was for many years the office manager at Orange Memorial Hospital. She was a member of AARP, Friends of the Library, Nursing Home Patient Advocate and was a volunteer for Carl Parker office in Austin.
Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wilkinson.
She is survived by hersons and their wives, James and Ann Wilkinson of Orange, Joe B. and Susan Wilkinson of San Angelo, grandchildren, Terry Wilkinson of Salado, Matthew Wilkinson of Waco, Tracy Wilkinson of Boston, MA; great grandchildren, Alice Oehlke of Taylor, Laura Wilkinson of Austin and great great granddaughter Kaitlyn Oehlke of Taylor.
Should friends desire, Memorial Contributions may be sent to First United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 502 6th St., Orange, TX 77630.
